MED Software New Features -
implemented from Your / User
Requests List
MED Billing & MED Diary / WorkList
(previously known as Waiting Rooms)
for MED4i / Windows v4.1.927
- New
function to make fee
schedules and items inactive:
this is an excellent to "tidy
up" and get rid of those old or
duplicate schedules and item
numbers that are no longer in
use.

Pictured above: Making the 'Do not
use - AMA' schedule inactive and
replacing all future accounts linked
to this old schedule to another
current schedule called 'AMA'.
How do I do this?
1. Go to: Services - List
Schedules
2. Double-click on the schedule
you wish to make in-active
3. Click on the "Make In-Active"
tick box
4. Select a current schedule that
will replace this old / duplicate
schedule. This step is mandatory to
ensure that when you create an
account for a patient that was
linked to this old (now inactive)
schedule, Billing will automatically
link it to the new schedule.

Pictured above: Making this item
'104' in the AMA schedule inactive
by ticking the 'Make In-Active' tick
box.
How do I do this?
1. Go to: Services - List
Services
2. Select the schedule you wish
to edit from from the 'Schedule'
drop down list.
3. Search for the item number you
wish to make inactive. Then,
double-click on it.
4. In the "Service Entry" window,
click on the "Make In-Active" tick
box, then click 'Save'.
- Resizing
the Diary window will add /
remove the months to / from the
calendar as the size permits
(maximum of 12 months). As per
popular demand, this enables you
to view more months on screen.

Pictured above: The calendar months
shown on the top left of MED Diary /
WorkList window. If you resize the
Diary window, this view will change
to automatically add or remove the
number of months as your screen
permits.
How do I do this?
To
resize the diary screen, simply move
your mouse to the edge of the diary
screen until your cursor turns to 2
arrows. Then
left-click on your mouse, hold and
drag to increase or decrease the
window size.
-
New print option to improve the
print-out for MED Diary /
WorkList: "Scale to fit Width
of Page". The default is
off. This option will fit the
printout of your Diary to the
width of the paper / page.
Please note that if your columns
are too wide, the printout maybe
too small to read.
How do I do this?
Go to: File - Settings - Diary
Setup and click on the
"Preferences" tab. Then, tick the
"Scale to fit Width of page"
checkbox.

Pictured above: "Scale to fit Width
of page" print option for MED Diary,
along with all the other options.
- Patient
address has been added to the
list of patient look up fields
in the MED Diary. This will
enable you to verify the
patient's address when you're
booking the patient in the
diary.
